Skellerup Enviroclad FBS (Fleece-backed System) Membrane

Thermoplastic waterproofing fleece-backed membrane for overlaying over old roofs and/or rough substrates.

This membrane system comprises of a 1.4mm layer of polyester fleece-backing; factory-laminated to 1.14mm of Enviroclad TPO waterproofing membrane. At 3.6m wide, this heat-weldable, watertight solution is ideal for installing over old bitumen or rough substrates such as concrete. The reinforced thermoplastic with the added fleece renders a 33% greater puncture resistance than most bitumen systems and when installed, can transform an ugly surface into an aesthetically gratifying one.

Cost-effective, hassle-free solution

Overlaying over an existing substrate negates any costs associated with stripping the current surface; no costly reconstruction nor reconditioning of the existing roof and no redesigning costs - as the new roof loading is limited. Overlaying also avoids the hassle of exposing the interior of the building to the changing weather conditions as the roof is replaced.

Reduction in waste

An overlay also negates the need to dump the old roof surface - thus avoiding filling the local land-fill with inorganic waste.

Adhesive - FBS Fast Dual Cartridge (STP900)

2 Part polyurethane foam adhesive (applied by a Caulking gun) for adhering fleece-backed membranes and polyiso insulation panels to the substrate.

Battery Powered Caulking Gun (STP910)

Enviroclad Pourable Pockets (STP440 / STP450)

STP440 (White), STP450 (Grey). Pourable pockets that weld onto the membrane creating a surround which encapsulates the roof penetrations and accommodates a sealant that gets poured onto it - thus sealing the penetrations.

Enviroclad Pourable Sealer (STP460)

Pourable Sealer which gets poured into the pocket surround thus sealing the penetrations which are to be a minimum of 25mm apart and from edges.

Enviroclad Russ (STP701)

Enviroclad Russ is a flashing product with both a self adhesive strip and TPO Strip for securing membranes at the base of parapets to the field sheet.
