Aluminium Drainage Box

This box with a lid which encases a roof's drain whilst providing access to it for maintenance from the top. This box is also designed to fully protect the drainage system from abrasive ballasting.

Aluminium Garden Edging - (SRG004)

This is a 3m long L-shaped accessory with drainage slits runing along its length to separate the garden assembly from walkways, transitions to drains.

Growth Media

We recommend a minimum of 100mm of a light, porous mix with a 2:1:1 split of pumice perlite, topsoil and FYM (farmyard manure) or compost. Other components could include digested fibre, expanded clay or shale, or coir.

Roof Garden Drainage Board - (SRG001)

Drainage Board Composite is a 1.2m wide sheet of plastic "dimples" for retaining the required amount of water in these upward-facing cups. Attached to the top is a thin layer of moisture retention material. A protection fabric is bonded to the bottom.

Roof Garden Protection Course - (SRG003)

Roof Garden Protection Course is a 3.6m wide rug of needle-punched cottons and wool which absorbs and retains some water whilst filtering the rest - preventing the passage of particles to the layers below.

Roof Garden Root Barrier - (SRG002)

Root Barrier is a 3.6m wide polypropylene sheet for preventing root penetration. The root barrier is heat welded at the seams.
